Uncle Mike’s RV Service specializes and primarily works in premier level RV inspections – whether it’s for a motorhome, trailer, truck camper, conversion van or the like.

About Uncle Mike

Uncle Mike is an avid camper of over 50 years who fully understands the needs of RVers. Uncle Mike’s immediate family has tent camped, hammock camped, trailer camped, motorhome camped, etc., giving him some of the experience needed to help you!

In fact, his family has been RVing for over 80 years, beginning with his grandfather taking the family traveling across the USA in an Airstream trailer. Uncle Mike currently RVs in a 2012 Class C motorhome. In addition to his 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara dinghy, he sometimes utilizes the RV for his RV Inspection & Tech Services.

Uncle Mike is a retired civil servant of nearly 30 years from the US Patent & Trademark Office. Additionally, he retired from being an adjunct professor for over 15 years. He is a classically trained medicinal chemist (Ph.D. & D.Chem.) and marine biologist (Ph.D.).

Uncle Mike’s RV Service is a part-time vocation for him because of his love of RVing. Thus following retirement he became a registered RV technician (RVTAA #1758) and a certified RV inspector (NRVIA #3526).

Uncle Mike’s RV Service is a mobile service, and he often travels across North America.

Uncle Mike gave us a fantastic report with more than 100 pictures. It detailed what we need to watch out for, as well as those (thankfully) minor things to fix. It's definitely saving us money!

Uncle Mike performed an emergency repair to a couple water leaks from freezing weather. He performed them quickly and effectively. In fact, when I had another water leak the plumber remarked at how good a job he had done with the other leaks.

Uncle Mike replaced our kitchen sink faucet mid-winter. The job was performed quickly, and everything works wonderfully.
